As an elite player and division 1 coach, I know what it takes to bring a player’s game to the next level.  I specialize in player evaluation and development.  Focusing on fundamentals, I strive to create balanced, well-rounded players.   My various coaching experiences have given me the tools I need to teach players how to excel in a variety of systems.

  • Basketball Analyst at MSG Varsity Sports

    MSG Varsity Sports: Women's High School Basketball pre-game and post-game analysis; analysis during games with play-by-play commentator. Columbia University: Internet broadcast analysis of Women's Basketball home games.

  • Head Women's Basketball Coach at NJIT

    Responsible for more than doubling wins & improving overall performance in Div I competition: 3 wins, 2006-07 (1st year Div I) to NJIT record 11 wins, 2009-10. Team of freshmen & sophomores wins included Ivy League, Penn and Brown, 2010-11. Finished 2011-12 season with 13 wins & tied for 2nd place, Great West Conference. Selected Achievements: o 3 players took GWC Honors& named to All Conference teams, one ranking 3rd in conference scoring & 2nd in rebounds. Freshman set NJIT season record for blocked shots. 2011-12. o Senior, all time leading scorer in NJIT basketball history with over 1,500 pts, named to GWC 1st team in 2009-10 & 2nd team in 2010-11. o 5-spot player in 2 European Championships recruited in 2007 received GWC Honorable Mention 2011, graduated magna cum laude 2011 & is pursuing doctorate in mathematics at NJIT. o Other team honors: Div I Independent Newcomer of the Year & Div I Independent All-Academic team. 2007-08. o Organized & facilitated 1st annual events: 1-Day Shooting Clinic (3rd - 8th grade girls). Education Day (over 500 participants) 2009-10. Served on Search Committees: Men's Basketball Head Coach, Strength Coach, Head Trainer. Member Planning Committee, Annual Highlander Golf Classic.

  • Head Women's Basketball Coach at Boston University

    Responsible for elevating Boston University's team from the bottom of the America East Conference to the top tier. At the end of first year, the team was in 10th place. By the fifth year, it was tied for 2nd. For three consecutive years, the team maintained a winning record, an accomplishment that Boston University's women's basketball team had not reached in over a decade. Selected Achievements: o America East Tournament Championship title game 2003/2004. o America East Tournament Champion 2002/2003. o First NCAA Tournament appearance in Boston University's history. o America East regular season second place finish 2001/2002. o First winning season at Boston University in seven years. o 2001 Recruiting Class ranked 24th in nation, All-Star Girls Recruiting Report. o Implemented the academic progress monitoring program based on model successfully instituted at George Washington University. o Created the "Guest Coach Program" to foster interaction between academic faculty members and team members outside the classroom setting.

Selected Achievements: o Overall Record of 93-31. o Team Excellence in Academics Award. o Atlantic 10 Champions, NCAA 2nd Round 1997-1998. o Atlantic 10 Champions (16-0), NCAA Elite 8, Final Ranking #10, 1996-1997. o Atlantic 10 Champions, NCAA 2nd Round, Final Ranking #18, 1995-1996.
